Our Jewels

Teeka Atelier was Whitney's dream for a very long time.  Award-winning Blogger, Influencer, and Fashion Designer Whitney Valverde took inspiration from her Costa Rican roots, her conection to spirituality, and her love for jewellery to create jewels that are not only beautiful but also healing and powerful.

The name Teeka is a play on the
pronunciation of the word ‘Tica’
(Costa Rican woman). It also relates
to Hindi word Teeka or Tikka which is
a piece of jewellery worn by Indian
women on the forehead. Given Teeka
Atelier will consist of spiritual jewellery,
Whitney loves the connection to the
chakras, especially the third eye.
A lover of nature, the sea, and sustainability, the Teeka woman is
also stylish, spiritual and powerful, just as the ‘Tica’. The first Teeka
Atelier collection will launch by the end of 2021.
